Where women are ruling the entire world so how can cricket be left behind. The 12th edition Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 championship finally has been commenced on 3rd March 2022, at Bay Oval Stadium in New Zealand, its final match will be on 4th April 2022. The tournament was supposed to be held in 2021 but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The format of the tournament is one-day international games (50 overs for each match to be played). Eight teams will be competing against each other – Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies, South Africa, India, and Bangladesh. The matches will be held in six different cities of New Zealand – Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Wellington.
