10th April is an iconic day, it is known as Happy Siblings Day. Either you love them or hate them, but surely, you can’t stay without them. This is the kind of bond that siblings share. The only partner in crime from childhood to graveyard are your siblings. Major fighting and competing for silly things throughout the day is the type of bond that is being shared between them. Siblings always share a bittersweet relationship between them. Bonded by heart’s distance by fate, the entire and the most precious part of our life’s childhood is mainly shared with our siblings. The first friend of our lives is a sister or brother. The bond is pure and natural. Thus, it makes absolute sense to celebrate such a unique bond between our brothers and sisters.
History of Siblings Day
Claudia Evart started this day after she lost her siblings – both brother and sister. She chose the date as April 10th because it’s her sister’s birthday. To spread the awareness and significance of this bittersweet relation. She also created a Siblings Day Foundation (SDF) on the year 10th April 1995, and the first siblings’ day was also celebrated on that day.
